Alas Pilipinas falls to Tunisia in straight sets in opening of FIVB Men's World Championship
The Alas Pilipinas men’s national team channeled all their courage and grit, but the Tunisia squad proved to be too much as it posted a 25-13, 25-17, 25-23 victory against the host team in the opening of the 2025 FIVB Men’s World Championship at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Sept. 12, 2025. Alas Pilipinas team captain Bryan Bagunas led the team with 23 points on 20 attacks, two aces and a block.
