“A son of Maharashtra…” Dy CM Shinde welcomes the appointment of BR Gavai as Chief Justice of India
Mumbai, July 9, 2025- Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde on July 9 hailed the appointment of BR Gavai as the Chief Justice of India. BR Gavai was facilitated in the Central Hall of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. Speaking to ANI, Shinde said “A son of Maharashtra, BR Gavai Sir, has been appointed to the highest post in India. For the first time in the history of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, he has been felicitated today in the Central Hall...This is a matter of great pride for us..."
